I specialize in designing site-specific and one-of-a-kind artwork in clay. Each piece articulates a client's vision through the evolution of forms, colors, and functions I have created over the years. I am constantly exploring my responses to personal inspiration so that commissioned artwork represents both the particular challenge of the client and site as well as a matured aesthetic.

Since 1988, I have placed my artwork in residential, educational, and corporate landscapes. At each site, the use varies. Some pieces are practical furniture while others become garden installation, fountains, or time-honored statements in creative sculpture. Whatever the function, my goal is to build a satisfying bridge between my client's imagination and the actual artwork installed to enhance a site design.

I work closely with each patron by providing drawings, small models and test glazing until the unique artwork can be confidently selected, created, and grounded.
